SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 2009/2010 ADMISSION

 The Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin wishes to announce the guidelines for the screening of candidates for its National Diploma (MPCE), Higher National Diploma, Pre-ND (Full-Time and Part Time) programmes for the 2009/2010 admission.
Guidelines:
(A)      Eligibility
All candidates who choose the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin as their institution of first and / or Second choices and scored 120 above in the 2009 JAMB MPCE….
(B)      Basic requirements for the Screening Exercise:

• Photocopy of JAMB/MPCE Acknowledgement Card Affixed with candidate’s recent passport photograph
• Photocopy of JAMB/MPCE Notification of Result Slip (Where applicable).
• One (01) recent passport photographs with candidate’s Full Names and Registration number written on the reverse side.

(C)      National Diploma (Part-Time), Higher National Diploma, Full-Time and Part-Time, Pre-ND Full-Time.
All candidates under this category are required to produce evidence that they have applied to the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin to undertake full-time or part-time studies and have met the basic entry requirement of such programmes. In addition, they are required to bring the following documents to the venue of the screening exercise:

• Original and Photocopy of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin Acknowledgement Card (Students Copy)
• One (01) recent passport photographs with the candidate’s Full Names written on the reverse side.

(D)      Amount Payable:
Each candidate is to pay N3, 000.00 only (Three Thousand, Naira Only) to any of the three Banks listed below:

• Afribank PLC, Muritala Mohammed Way, Ilorin.
• Finbank, Ibrahim Taiwo Road, Branch, and Kwara Poly Main Campus Branch.
• First Bank Plc, Abdulhazeez Attah Road, Surulere, Ilorin.

Note:Each candidate is to obtain a Scratch Card after payment which will

• provide access to fill and submit form Online,
• Check Result of test,
• Check for admission status

NB: Please ensure that you print out Post JAMB Screening Test Clearance.

(E)      Requirements for the Examination.
i)         Writing materials –HB Pencil, Eraser and
ii)        The use of handsets and any programmable calculators is not allowed in the Examination Hall.
(F)       Mode of Screening Exercise
            Candidates will be required to write an examination.

Venues of Screening Examination

Approved venues for the screening test are list below
(I)       Candidate’s Instructions:

• Use only approved answer sheet.
• Use HB Pencil only and shade properly.
• Do not fold or rough-handle the answer sheet.
• Remember to write your name, course and JAMB number (JAMBITES) or Application Form Number (Other Programmes).
• Remember, cheating disqualifies you for admission.
• Obey all instructions given by your invigilator.
• The use of electronic gadgets and hand-sets is not allowed.

NB:

• All candidates should report at their designated Examination Centres promptly
• Candidates should note that the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin frowns seriously at impersonation and any other form of examination malpractices.
• Offenders shall be handed over to the law enforcement agents for prosecution
